Top notes are Cherry, Cinnamon, Sicilian Lemon and Nutmeg; middle notes are Coca-Cola, Indonesian Patchouli Leaf and Orange Blossom; base notes are Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Labdanum and Benzoin. On the trail of this famous spearhead of pop culture, invented in the United States, we followed in the footsteps of caravans, travelers and kola nut merchants. This journey took us from the hectic modernity of the world's great metropolises to the warm plains of the sunset empires, where the tonka bean awaited us.
